  1. First you take 1/2 cup tuvar dal and 1/4 ground nut in bowl,wash it properly, and then you put it inside the cooker. Now in it add 2 glasses of water.Wait for 3-4 whistles.
  2. Take wheat flour add pinch of kasuri methi, turmeric,red chili powder,jeera, ajwain, finely chopped coriander,oil and salt as per your taste. Mix together all materials and with the help of water make a dough.
  3. When cooker cools down open it. Then slightly stir the daal and water in it again add 2 glasses of water. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, cut tomatoes, finely chopped green chillies and coriander leaves, jaggery.Add salt as per your taste. Boil this.
    Now take the above prepared dough And make round chapattis from it.
  4. Now cut the chapattis into small square pieces which is known as Dhokli and add it into the above boiling Daal.
  5. Now give Tadka to daal Dhokli.
    Take 7/8 spoons of oil, when oil gets heated up,add mustard seeds- they start to burst, add cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves. Now add this tadka to your dal dhokli and close the cooker lid for 5 minutes. Now your dish is ready to eat.
    Serve this dal dhokli with cucumber, tomato salad and papad.
